The Urban Newtown Hotel

Located in the heart of vibrant Newtown, Sydney, The Urban Newtown Hotel is set to redefine the boutique hotel experience in the city.

Nestled in the culturally rich and eclectic neighbourhood of Newtown, this hotel captures the essence of the area’s artistic spirit while offering a haven of modern comfort and convenience. Our project showcases the perfect fusion of contemporary design and local charm, making it a unique destination for both travellers and locals.

Paul Kelly was engaged to complete the concept design bringing in soft and warm touches from an existing industrial product. Dezign were engaged by the owner, Collectic Hotels, to deliver the refurbishment to all 82 rooms throughout the 5-level establishment.

Working under a tight project programme, while the hotel stayed operating, we completed all rooms ahead of schedule and ensured all milestone installation dates were met.
