The Muse Christchurch, Christchurch

Dezign is pleased to have worked alongside the developer in the design and fitout of bespoke solutions for The Muse – Art Hotel located in Christchurch, New Zealand.

The project involved the refurbishment of an existing office building to transform it into a 40 room hotel fitout with retail spaces, restaurant and a roof top bar.

The hotel features an artistic theme with each of the five hotel floors assigned to a local Christchurch artist to decorate. The art concept is hoped to attract millennial travellers and corporate travellers.

The aim of this project was to ensure the design of each space compliments the Art Deco design concept and the era of the re-purposed building that has been given a fresh life in this exciting development.
