Pacific Hotel Cairns

TPG / Oscars Group engaged Dezign to deliver the full repositioning of levels 10 and 11 at Pacific Cairns, transforming the asset from a stripped-back concrete shell into a completed 44-room hotel offering.

The project involved a comprehensive rebuild, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic services upgrades, alongside the full interior fitout across all guestrooms. Dezign delivered all joinery, FF&E and finishes, ensuring a consistent and considered outcome across both the operational backbone of the building and the guest-facing experience.

Working from a base-build condition required detailed coordination between design, services and construction. Key elements were resolved in parallel, allowing the team to move efficiently from shell to completion while maintaining control over programme, cost and quality.

Dezign’s integrated approach, combining design, pre-construction, procurement and construction, enabled a streamlined delivery process and clear accountability across all stages of the project.

The completed hotel represents a full asset repositioning, delivering a modern, durable and operationally efficient product aligned to market expectations and ready for immediate use.
