580 George Street, Sydney

580 George Street is an A-Grade Office & Retail building located in the mid-town precinct of the Sydney CBD.

We were engaged by GPT for this high-end lobby fitout.

The base building architects were FJMT who blurred the distinction between the street and the lobby with an organic folding awning clad in diamond shaped brushed aluminium which transitions into the ceiling of the lobby. The interior design was undertaken by Paul Kelly Design.

To ensure their vision for the interiors were met we worked closely with the interior designer to develop and manufacture a series of bespoke items. The high-back ‘booth’ seats incorporated charging ports, integrated lighting, and swivel tables. The dining chairs were made in Italy by one of key suppliers and upholstered by us in Sydney and complimented with bespoke dining tables.

We were also engaged to provide the copper finished metal used throughout the fitout to ensure quality and consistency of colour across the interiors.

It should be noted all bespoke items were made in Australia, apart from the Italian chair frames, in our Sydney factory.

We liaised throughout the project with the project manager to ensure cost and time parameters were met.
