Partnering with Lyon Group, we embarked on a transformative journey to bring this project to life. From concept to delivery, the Dezign team was engaged on an integrated process to meticulously craft every detail to ensure a seamless blend of comfort and sophistication.

We drew inspiration from the North Queensland location and a nod to the new-look Mercure Brand Standard. Our design approach focussed on organic forms incorporating textured fabrics, natural timber, and rattan to create tactility and comfort. The guestrooms colour palette inspired by Townsville’s tropical surroundings combined with bespoke furniture create visual calmness; this is a place to relax.
